February 11, 2009 -- background checks renewed and started up on paperwork again
November 18, 2009 -- homestudy interview completed and now on to more paperwork
October 27, 2009 -- homestudy interview schedule for November 18, 2009
October 15, 2009 -- psychological evaluations completed, paper work will be sent to LSS with a positive recommendation
October 5, 2009 -- homestudy paperwork, questionnaires, and forms sent to LSS
September 28, 2009 -- psychological evaluations scheduled for October 15, 2009
September 24, 2009 -- mandatory 18 hours of adoption education classes completed
September 16, 2009 -- physicals, letters and background checks in to LSS
June 24, 2009 -- adoption medical tests and paperwork completed...still waiting on those background checks
May 6, 2009 -- working on the new background checks
April 23, 2009 -- now working with the Appleton office of LSS
March 1, 2009 -- adoption on a slight hold while we move to the Green Bay, WI area....more background checks here we come!
February 2009 -- all background checks have cleared and reference letters are coming in
December 29, 2008 -- received confirmation of our background check from Edgar Police Department
November 26, 2008 -- received confirmation of our LSS application
November 25, 2008 -- received our background check from Marathon County Social Services...all clear!
November 22, 2008 -- received educational materials and second part of CHSFS application in the mail
November 17, 2008 -- both of our applications went out today!
November 12, 2008 -- talked with CHSFS
November 7, 2008 -- we met with our social worker at LSS
November 1, 2008 -- we attended our first adoption meeting

Deanne and family who accepted a referral for a little girl on April 4th. They have yet to receive their first court date as of October 2009.

Laura and family whose child, Elias is in an Ethiopian hospital.

Sandee and family as they have had three failed court dates and now have been sitting "open at court" for 61 days.

Paula and family. They passed court on April 23, 2009 and are now parents to beautiful twin girls.
Abby and family. She was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia and the doctors have given her a 20% chance of survival.
